Researching Ancillary Products: Class Discussion

During today's lesson we discussed why people still buy albums and why digipaks are important. Today's young generation are much more into buying and downloading albums online and even though this has become more popular than the traditional way of buying an album in a way this has helped to make albums popular, people feel like having an album is part of memorabilia and a keepsake. Digipaks also help to promote the artist to fans and the public as they contain pictures of the artist and sometimes lyrics inside to all the songs on the album.
